  "The Flash" is an American superhero  TV series developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Geoff Johns,  raising on The CW from October 7, 2014, to May 24, 2023. The series is grounded on the DC Comics character Barry Allen, also known as the Flash, a costumed superhero with the power of  preternatural speed. The show is part of the Arrowverse, a participated  macrocosm that includes other DC Comics  TV series. 
 
 Grant Gustin stars as Barry Allen, a forensic scientist who gainssuper-speed after being struck by lightning during a  flyspeck accelerator explosion. The series blends  rudiments of  wisdom  fabrication, superhero action, and drama, exploring themes of heroism, family, and redemption.
