Suspecting Maitland's involvement in Mikey's death, Axel's unorthodox  disquisition  styles draw the attention of the Beverly Hills Police Department. Lieutenant Andrew Bogomil assigns Sergeant John Taggart and Detective Billy Rosewood to keep an eye on Axel. 
 
  Despite  original  disunion, Axel, Taggart, and Rosewood form an doubtful  platoon. Their  disquisition reveals that Maitland is using his art gallery as a front for  medicine smuggling. The  triad confronts Maitland in a apocalyptic  showdown at his  manse, performing in Maitland's death and the resolution of the case.
